- They offer kayak tours on the Crystal River in Florida to promote observation without interaction.
- They have branched out their rehabilitation efforts and funding to assist manatees in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Belize in addition to Florida.
- They've started pilot projects to recycle monofilament fishing line in the Florida Keys and in Broward County, Florida.

- I've seen the manatees at Blue Springs state park in Orange City, Florida and while out on the St. Johns River and they are so sweet. Unfortunately because of the over abundance of people and boats they get hit and maimed too often.

- Some people question this charitie's donation percentage, but i think that it is an amazing that even seventh graders like me can become so involved in such an organization. I even have a new manatee cursor and wallpaper for my desktop. I will definately adopt a manatee from this astounding group of believers!
